A Perfect Goodbye

I didn’t give you a perfect goodbye

I should have stood up

As you left

Wrapped my arms around you

And not let go

Please stay.

Don’t leave.

If I’d have known

It would have been so different

You would have left with a smile on your face

I still think about this day

That horrible night

Filled with missed opportunities

I didn’t give you a perfect goodbye

A Perpetual Sunrise

I’m just waiting for the moment everything falls into place. A moment we may never reach A dream of happiness A dream of longing... belonging. A bond so mature and so naive You have rooted so deep But
